Ooph! My oldest is 15, but that parting day is looming ahead. I look around and know that our little town has very little to offer any of my children in the way of a future, and it takes my breath away. The idea of them being far away is very likely, and while I realize this I also know it is a good thing for them to live their own lives.
Timely read for me as well. My oldest left for basic training last week and since he has turned 18 it has been a transition for me to learn to let go and how to parent a young adult!

You just never know where God will lead them! Maybe they will roam, and return. Maybe they were meant to fly farther afield!
