So convicting! I am always saying I am tired but if I get up and do something, even just dust a little, I am energized.

Ooooh. This one is convicting. I have found if I don’t eat breakfast I am less likely to have the energy to get things done that I need to, then proceed to have a lazy day. Have been trying to get into the swing of eating breakfast all the time. I also think because we have things so easy we expect things to always be easy and when they aren’t find tasks more tiring than maybe previous generations found them.

Ouch and amen😂 my insta-friend Hannah posted a grandpa quote yesterday that said:

"Our life was tiring for the body, but it was comfortable for the soul. Your life today is comfortable for the body, but it is tiring for the soul."

I’ve noticed that when I use my body as it was intended (time outside, housework, etc) I tend to feel better overall.

Hi Heather. I can relate to this article. I can't rest fully when i have things to do. While I agree with you, I'm feeling very tired these past few weeks as it's summer here in Asia and it's very very hot. And the heat is making me languish and... sort of lazy too. i just don't have the energy to do anything at all and I have to force myself. My body just feels heavy and exhausted. Would love to hear your thoughts on this.

I absolutely love this! I have always been the kind of woman that wants to get all the chores of the day done first so then I can rest. However my husband and children are the complete opposite, so it makes it hard on me.
